  • The Oaks Correctional Facility – Manistee, MI
  • 2:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Paid Time Off
  • Medical and Dental after 90 days

  Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan RN License
  • Strong patient assessment and management skills
  • Experience in venipuncture and IV therapy
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

  Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive patient care
  • Health screenings
  • Emergency healthcare response
  • Medication administration
  • Health education

  Correctional Nurse Duties:

  • EKGs, Health Screens, TB tests
  • Immunizations
  • Utilization of MCIR
  • Health Care Clearances
  • Education on Hepatitis C and HIV status
  • Evaluation for segregation clearance
  • Insulin lines and blood sugar monitoring
  • Breathing treatments and wound care

  Pre Employment Requirements:

  • 2 TB tests OR Quantiferon/QGold
  • Drug Screen
  • Physical
