Care One is seeking a talented Recreational Therapist for an exciting opportunity in Whitmore Lake, MI

Recreational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and supervise individual and group recreational therapy activities including yoga, calisthenics, board games, sports, crafts, sewing, painting, cooking, and more.
• Evaluate individual needs through observation, documentation review, and functional assessments.
• Maintain and manage therapeutic materials, equipment, and program supplies.
• Document all therapy sessions and activities in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Recreational Therapist Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Recreational Therapist program
• Valid Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist in the state of Michigan.
• Ability to relate to and treat all patients and their particular problems.
• Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management and documentation skills.
• Certified to provide Basic Cardiac Life Support.
