We have a FULL-TIME day shifts opening for a Pharmacy Assistant beginning immediately at the following locations:
- Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital
- 8:00am- 4:30pm
- No weekends/Holidays
- Contract/Temporary Assignment
Pharmacy Assistant Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product ordering, distribution, and documentation.
- Manage inventories, address missing medications, and handle returns or destruction.
- Stock products, distribute self-administered medication, and assist with records.
- Prepare pharmacy orders, compound drugs, and fill ward stock orders.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a pharmacy technician.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations and psychiatric medications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and stress management.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and teamwork.
